  • Keys To The City

I had the great pleasure of filming and editing the making of this grand mural in Seattle with Invisible Creature for Vulcan Real Estate. Located in SLU facing the new amazon.com building, this mural is larger than life and a lot of fun. More info here.

  • Seth Schwiet

Allow me to introduce you to an incredibly talented designer/developer/musician/beard-grower, Seth Schwiet. A major inspiration and influence in my life, his creativity and work-ethic have set a strong example that I have tried to carry over into my own pursuits. He's been writing music for many moons, but only recently has he released it for internet consumption—with a two song EP on his Bandcamp page—so go check it out! My favorite: when "The Wolf" drops at around the 3:30 mark.

  • Senior Showcase

Tonight is the big night! Our class has been working around the clock to prepare our Senior Show, and tonight we are going to kick-it-off with a nice reception for the good people of Seattle. If you happen to be in the area without plans, come check it out between 5-7pm.

We are also very proud of our custom built, mobile responsive website for the show. The site has more than 13,000 unique visitors, which we count as a major-win. Overall, we are really excited to leave SPU on this note, and are grateful for all of the people who have helped get us to this point.

"From Crayons to Concept emphasizes the importance of looking back on our journey as developing creatives. Each of us have taken time over the past few months to rummage through old photos, look at our visual histories, and observe not only what influenced us, but also what was inherent in who we are. Whether wearing balloons on our head in an avant-garde fashion, sculpting in the mud or coloring with crayons, our instinct was and is to create. That same creativity has brought us to where we are now as design thinkers, equipped to build concepts and solve problems."

  • SPU "My Life" Interview

Last month, SPU's prospective student magazine contacted me to do a promotional interview for the school, highlighting my internship at Tooth & Nail. Apparently, at-desk-design isn't the most exciting thing to film, so they had me cruise down the canal on a longboard.

  • New Site

I'm very happy to announce the relaunch of schwiet.com! Special thanks to the Virb team for making such a great product. I now have a place to post Blogs and soon I will have a shop up and running, so don't be a stranger. Thanks for stopping by.
